ZiS-5

A major contributor to the mechanisation of the Red Army, ZiS-5 is one of the iconic vehicles of the so-called Great Patriotic War. These compact trucks carried troops, supplies, materials, and even rocket launchers wherever they were needed. This particular example used to stand under the roofed section of Poznan Armament Museum, but was recently restored and today it was moved slightly forward for everyone to see. The anti-aircraft spotlight was taken off its back to show its basic configuration.
