I don't usually do this, but heck, I've been on deviantART for about 10 years now (this is my second account), maybe it's a good way to bring back some memories.

  1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
About ten years. I don't remember the exact date, but it was around 2005-2006. For most of the time, the old account was just for browsing. I didn't fav anything and rarely made comments - and that's for better, because I was a babbling noob back then with no idea of the netiquette. I think I've found dA via a link from Fanart Central, which I used to browse years ago. Also, my sister would browse Rimfrost's comic strips and I helped to translate the more difficult parts. I myself would look chiefly for fanarts, especially from Avatar: The Last Airbender, which was a major hit back then and I'd watch some episodes over the internet, but my lack of skills in understanding of spoken English was a major obstacle. Therefore, I tried to get the bits of history via fanarts.

  2. What does your username mean?
Back when I created this account I was really interested with all kinds of industrial disasters, especially radiological such as the Chernobyl accident. There is a popular theory that one verse from Apocalypse of St. John refers to the disaster:
The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
This juxtaposition of Biblical theme and man-made tragedy seemed really interesting to me, so I picked it. I got so used to the "WormWood" style (with two capital W) that, despite it became an option to change your username, I decided to keep it. In the same vein, I kept my old deviantID, even though I could do a better one now.

  3. Describe yourself in three words.
    I am a rebel.

  4. Are you left or right handed?
    Right handed

  5. What was your first deviation?
On the old account, it was a photo of a sunset over the forrest to the south-west from my home. On this account, the oldest deviation in my gallery is Sinister smiles, but I'm positive there was something older that I have since removed; perhaps some Bionicle MOCs or something along these lines.

  6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
Photography. I'm not good with either drawing nor digital images, so they are a good base for my deviations.

  7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Drawing. My imagination is pretty wild and I come up with dozens of ideas every day. Sadly, my lack of drawing talent (by this I mean the combination of: being able to see the finished project in your mind; mind-to-hand coordination; hand stability) prevented me from progressing any further than simple sketches in the notepad during lectures.

  8. What was your first favourite?
My very first favourite was The Librarian by mortiferi. The juxtaposition of the wild smile and pointed teeth with elegant clothes and book at his knees was really attractive. It invoked that feeling that even the vilest looking monsters deserve to be known better before they are judged. That image was always somewhere at the back of my head for all these years, in a way impersonating my deepest thoughts, always alternative to what I showed on the outside. The Librarian had grown to become a symbol of my other self. Fortunately, I saved his picture back then, since mortiferi deactivated his account and the deviation is no longer to be found.

  9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
All sorts of drawings, paintings and sketches. I enjoy photography as well, but the more effort it takes to create an image, the more I appreciate. That is why I think so lowly of my own deviations - most of them require nothing more than a click of a camera button and a few minutes of Gimp-ing.

  10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
I'm gonna skip this question, because I don't want to point one person. Because if you are to pick one favourite out of, say, 100, you always leave 99 deviants sad that you didn't pick them.

  11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
I don't think I could handle such resonsibility  I am generally a shy person and meeting someone face to face makes me kind of uncomfortable. I prefer to do it from the safety of my own cave room. It doesn't mean I don't have any real life friends, but it takes time for me to get accustomed to someone. But to quoth that one motivation poster, I am shy at first, but once I get comfortable around you, get ready for some crazy sh.t

  12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
There was one fella that really changed my view on deviantART. Once upon a time, I used to drop all kinds of stuff, usually having nothing to do with art. He left a comment under a picture I've taken at Imperial war Museum, showing a piece of wreckage from Bf 110, asking But is this art?. That really made me think over what I'm posting and if deviantART is the place for such stuff. I made a big gallery cleanup after that, removing hundreds of particularly bad deviations, and started to pay bigger attention to my submissions. And while I still see myself as a beginner, I can see some improvement

  13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
My camera and GIMP for correcting the pictures.

  14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
In places of great natural or urban beauty, or ones of historical significance.

  15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
    Moments?
Maybe you mean, 10 years together?
