S/P Pawelek

One of the oldest cruise ships in Poland, S/P Pawełek started its life in German shipyard in 1930s. It was used to explore lakes and rivers to find new water passages. During the war, in 1942, it was retrofited with diesel engine instead of a steam one. After the war, it was left in Poland. Since 1973, it carries passengers on lakes in the vicinity of Konin, usually being anchored in Slesin. A short cruise takes about an hour, but occasionaly it also cruises all the way to Kruszwica, ca. 38 km north.
