MG - Panzernest

MG - Panzernest was a mobile machine gun nest, designed and built by Nazi Germany in early 1940. It was made of cast steel, as a single block of metal, with few additional elements such as machine gun hatches and entrance for the crew (single person). It was towed on a two-wheel carriage and buried partially for reinforcement.

This particular example belongs to Polish Warfare Museum in Kołobrzeg. The upside-down white sign is the maximum towing speed (10 km/h).
