Jagdpanther [1:76]

Something something bacon tank.

I had this model once, bought in Imperial War Museum, London, but I was never really satisfied with the results. Sadly, my attempt to wash the paint down and repaint it resulted in breaking almost all of the axles for the road wheels, to the point I was unable to reinstall them. However, the legacy of that previous Jagdpanther still lives on in this model, because I mated the top half of the hull and the gun (but without the cradle) from the old model with the chassis of a new one.

I think the instruction does not mention it, but a Jagdpanther with this particular camouflage (affectionately known as the "bacon camo") and the Yellow 411 number is located in Bovington Tank Museum, in running order.

While taking the pictures, I noticed some obvious gaps betweeen upper and lower glacis- well, "obvious", if they were so obvious I'd have noticed them BEFORE taking the pictures. Maybe I'll just upload a new photo once I fill them.
