Il-2m3 VII

A legendary Soviet WWII assault plane, designed to destroy ground targets like trains, buildings, vehicles columns or tanks. It had a lot of armament's versions: 2 x VYa-23 23 or 2 x NS-37 aircraft gun, bombs, rockets etc. It also had armour around the pilot's cockpit and was incredibly hard to shot down, thus the German pilots and soldiers gave it nickname "Betonflugzeug" (Concrete Plane) and "Zementbomber" (Cement Bomber). Despite this, however, very few examples survive to this day. 3 are original (including this one) and 1 is restored, using parts of many other Il-2s.
