Herald of Autumn

Oh, silly Wormwood, how could you forget that whenever you say "this is the last thing I upload before finals/travel" (with the former happening way more often ) you take another photo worth uploading?

I went to a small forrest near my house when I noticed a hedgehog eating his prey. I went back for camera and took some pictures of it; it was scared of me at first, but after some time it went into "I don't give a f*ck" mode and even walked as close as one foot away from me.

Hedgehogs are commonly associated with autumn in Poland, mainly due to a popular (albeit totally untrue, based on fairy tails* tales) image of a hedgehog carrying an apple on its spikes. They are, however, often seen during that time, using the last warm days for gathering food before hibernating in winter.

*yes, I totally wrote fairy tails and didn't notice for over 2,5 hours
