Two jeeps carrying British paratroopers during the "Arnhem 1944" reenactement.
A characteristic feature of British Jeeps, esp. in special forces' service, was a Vickers K machine gun, normally used for aircraft defence, which was light and had high rate of fire. Therefore, British Spec Ops used it as their weapons of choice for their shoot-and-scoot tactics, which involved attacking Germans with lightning Jeep strikes and retreating before they could react.
