Yo in case it didn't become glaringly obvious from the lack of content for the past 18 months, and no new Journal entries since 2019, this blog is pretty much dead, and the reasons for that are as follows: 1. as a working adult, I no longer enjoy the same time and/or energy to travel to various places or attend events such as historical reenactements to take pictures and then edit them, the way I enjoyed time and energy as a teenager or a college student, 2. OK so halfway through writing this the deviantART crashed and I lost everything I managed to write, which I think is a great summary of this ending decade. Sso I'm just gonna be quick to make it before midnight. Shortly after my last entry, there was the Pyrkon, and it was a blast. First of all, I managed to finish my plague doctor mask: it was designed by Wintercroft, and usually is made from paper (as I did in 2017), but this time I made it with polystyrene sheets to make it more durable. I have spent my first Christmas away from home - I was at my parents' place for the Christmas Eve, but had to work a night shift on December 25th and 26th itself, and then on the New Year's Eve as well. 2.
